why is my gasless mig wire arking out inside the gas mixer (mig torch)?
welding friends please help me out here
i have a panther 120 mig welder with a 5kg spool of gasless wire cigweld wire not cheap shit. PROBLEM IS THE WIRE TURNS LIVE INSIDE THE TORCH EVERY NOW AND AGAIN AND JAMS UP INSIDE THE GUN, i have changed liners goose necks swan necks and even the whole torch setup. after a few uses it continues to randomely happen if you can imagine the wire feeds out the end of the gun with burn marks in it where it passes through the gas mixer. i CANNOT work it out it may be a simple thing but i am so furios about pulling it apart every weld to fix it that the solution evades me every friggin day . i am going out of my brain cant afford to buy another one please help
I would call the manufacture on this one,
sounds like a defect .
