Is there anything that can be done to improve the water pressure in our house?
Hi
We have just moved house (rented) anyway the water just drizzles out of the shower, its like trying to shower in the rain!
We have replaced the shower hose and head with brand new ones but this has not helped. So it must be the water pressure??
Is there anything that can be done to improve it.
It isn't our house so if fixing it involves major work and money then we obviously wont bother.
It isn't an electric shower by the way, it's one that connects to the taps instead.
I dont like taking baths because it takes too long and we are on a water meter so will be too expensive.

Yes our bathroom is upstairs and so is the water tank (is this the emersion heater??) well that's upstairs in the spare room.

I take it your bath is upstairs where you have the shower connected to the taps? The pressure from those taps will be governed by the height of the cold water header tank which is normally in the loft, depending on the system you have in the house. You obviously don't want to spend a lot of money as it is not your house, it seems your only options would be to install a shower with a pump, or install an electric shower from the mains water supply if you have good cold water pressure, from for example the sink downstairs.
