Total Station Package
does USPS deliver packages at a different time than regular mail?

because i was tracking a package i ordered that says it has arrived at the mail station by my house and then departed for delivery but i have all ready got my normal mail. So does another run get made for packages?

I don't know if this helps but here is some information about my order:
it is a hat
i selected next day air shipping at the time of purchase on sunday, the product say it was shipped on monday and today is wednesday.
It was like $10 total order(i don't know if the price makes a difference in delivery like if it is expensive they wont deliver if you are not there)
I live is ballwin missouri (st louis missouri) if it depends on the post office.

If they have a lot of packages to deliver, they will send out a truck that just does packages so it could come later than your mail does/did.

If you live in an apartment or a place where there's a business office, they often leave the packages there instead of at your door
