looking for high paying welding job?
I am an experienced welder and sheet metal craftsman. I am looking for one of those remote location high paying jobs(Alaska pipeline type deal). For example I recently ran across a job for a tig welder building kitchen equiptment in remote alaska. They pay room and board, nowhere to spend money, and they pay transportation there and back. Just looking for more info on these types of jobs. I heard northern canada has a pretty big oil boom going on and are paying well. Just cant find any hard info on it. Thanks for any help.
You should look for jobs in Prudoe Bay, my brother is a welder and he goes up there for 6 weeks and then comes home (Fairbanks) for two. I believe that is where most welders go, esp to work on the pipeline
