I've taped my tapers/tunnels up. Well, tried.
Every time i put them back in, the tape melts together. (yes, it's non adhesive.) Teflon ptfe tape or something like that.
it tends to almost.. deform?
Is there something else i could use? I'm currently at 0 & i'm trying to tape them up a bit to get in a pair of double flared 0 plugs.
NO way their going in without it.
Make sure the plug is dry and clean before you start.
Wrap one layer of PTFE tape around it, keep it tight, smooth it out with your fingers, then cover it and your ear in lube (whatever that is) Vitamin e oil and jojoba are really good. The tape should go translucent. Then try it in your ear.
The first wrap can be a bit of a hassle and can scrunch up (leave it a few days before you try again), but after that its much easier.
Add one layer of tape every few days.
Otherwise, try slightly heavier plugs, or buy a 00g taper.
