Does anyone actually like clowns, jugglers, stilt-walkers etc?
It's my theory that none of us actually really find that stuff very entertaining, but because it's offered to us by adults as entertainment when we're children, we think that it's normal to like it and just assume we're the odd ones out.
Then when we're adults we give our kids the same old crap that we believe entertains everyone but us, thus propagating the situation that is this:
A world full of bored and slightly alienated adults and children, along will a few people walking around on stilts who, under the mistaken belief that they're entertaining people, happen to be the only people enjoying themselves.
Is there any truth in my theory, or am I really just the odd one out?
