What can be the cause of little free fluid in pouch of Douglas .?
In my feces was isolated sallmonela enteritidis,and I took antibiotics for 10 days.But I steel have mild pain in my stomach end ribs for almost three mounts.On ultrasound all abdominal organs seems ok , except a little free fluid in pouch of Douglas.My blood results was in right too.My gynecologist find that "I am gynecologicaly clear like tier".Plz help?
The clear fluid in the cul-de-sac (also called the Pouch of Douglas) can be an indication of where you are in your menstrual cycle.
I would recommend getting back in touch with your gynecologist to ask for further clarification of the results of the ultrasound.
