I was at a swap meet last week and this guy was selling a Stormtrooper helmet that someone gave him 20 years ago. So i talk the guy down to $5 for it. I get home and look at the back when i notice something was etched "1977 20th century corporation". On a side note the guy didnt know what he had and painted red and black stripes.....what a jerk. Could be a fake or something but i don't care about that. If it was real what would it go for refurbished and as is? so any info on where in the USA to get it refurbished would be nice
It's a fake...it's probably a Don Post mask, worth maybe $30. I have a Darth Vader mask that has the same stamp on the inside. They wouldn't bother to stamp a trademark on a prop for a movie.
