Dog charms and pendants...?
I am trying to make necklaces and bracelets to sell at my upcoming garage sale (our whole neighborhood does it every year and attracts quite a crowd.) I want to make some necklaces and bracelets with dog or animal pendants to (hopefully) sell.
Most of my profit off of them will go to my local shelter OR to the SPCA to help stop puppy mills (the rest will pay for the supplies.) I even have a brochure about puppy mills to print out and give to customers!
My question is, does anyone know where i can get CHEAP pendants and charms (IE not $5 per pendant?) Preferably wholesale or group lots.
I will repost this in the creative/jewelry section (if there is one.) Just wanted to know if any dog people have seen cheap stuff like that (or other stuff to sell.)
yes, there are tons of wholesale catalogs - I used to do some of this myself to supplement the paintings I had on my website when I sold animal portraits for a living.

Very inexpensive pewter charms http://watchus.com/category.asp?cid=328 unfortunately they require a $150 initial order (please remember you can also sell these on Ebay).
I found a site with some lovely gem/silver charms - but they are $8 a piece... and again you have to buy in quantity.
