Im starting to get into hunting more and more and I am looking in the near future to purchase as firearm. I wanted to know what is the best gun to get. I've looked at a remington 770 in .30-06 but only comes in right handed actions. Since I am a left handed shooter is it okay to get a right handed bolt action. Or should I look for a left handed. The Remington 770 comes out to $350.00 with an included scope. Would it be a problem with the ejection port on the right side? and what is a good gun in left handed that isn't too expensive?
i know you can get the remington 700 in left hand shooter. i personally prefer the .308 because it gives range and knock down power. i like the 30-06 and have hunted with it ALOT. almost as much as the .308. on a bolt action rifle the only interference you would have with being left handed is if you were taking multiple shots i would guess. i personally like the rem 700 but i own a savage mdl 12. it's a real nice gun and i like the accutrigger. they are reasonably priced as well, but i'm not sure about left hand models. good luck and good shooting
