why dont people read the instructions?
i used to work repairing stuff, and everyone that came in with a computer, phone or mp3 player had problems because they didn't read the instructions.
on the first page of the booklet it says don't do so and so and they do it.
whats the purpose of having the instructions if you arent going to read them or dont read them until something goes wrong with the product.
i have seen friends who never read the instructions for a product but if there not included will take the product back to the store
i learned stuff by reading the instructions, why do people now go ask for help from some one has the same product or call tech support why not just read the instructions, they don't take that long to read unless your an idiot.
you dont have to read every page of a manual to figure out how to use it, just read the important stuff.
Because I already know better than to use my hair dryer while sleeping.
*I am a certified type A-read-the owner's-manual-person. If they were a bit more interesting I think folks might try. I read one recently that was funny - I wish I could remember what it was...something for my teenage son I think.
