im lookin to gain more weight for high school football with whey protein and more?
i am lookin to gain more weight with whey protein, i'm 14 i n 8th grade and i weigh 156 pounds and am lean because i work out. I am lookin to gain up to atleast 170 pounds by high school and i was wondering is soda and junk not the way to go even if im trying to gain weight. I have pasta every sunday becuase that is a tradition at our italiano neighborhood. I know why protein wont do it all but ive been taking cell tech hardcore and i gained a lot of weight from that but i just don't have the money to dish out 50 bucks for that and whey proten is only 15 bucks at walmart. Thanks for any answers, all will be appreiciated.
I work at a gym and the personal trainers there eat tuna and other fish for lunch almost every day. They are also snacking on veggies and dip or booster juice between clients too...
I think soda and junk is not the way to go because you can gain weight easily enough with wholesome foods that have nutritional value to them, while junk food has little to no values, doesn't make you feel full for long, and will make you feel sluggish (because of the glycemic crash)....you want food that will maintain your energy level out on the field while giving your muscles the nutrition they need for growth.
