What is the physical difference between purple and white irrigation pipe?
The cost of the purple pipe is greater and I know that the color distinguishes it as a grey water conduit as opposed to potable. Is there a chemical difference to the composition of the pipe?
I know what each is used for. I don't know why the cost is different. That's why I ask if there is a physical difference.
There is no reason for there to be any difference in the composition (besides a coloring agent) of the purple pipe.
You already knew that purple pipe was for re-claimed or grey water.
