i work as a maid , what are the best products to use?
i need good multi use supplies
i need a stainless steal cleaner
marble / granite / wood / leather polisher
possibly micro fiber clothes?
whats good instead of buying a million products all the time
and whats better than paper towels cuz i hate buying them all the time
and is there a good stone cleaner besides bleach cuz i think the bleach is kiling me
and is there a good homemade safe and multi purpose / multi surface cleaner i can make myself???
A very good and very cheap cleaner for a lot of kitchen surfaces is simply vinegar. Get some spray bottles and fill them with cheap, white vinegar. If you have really earthy clients, assure them that it is an all-natural mix that is safe around children and animals (not a lie).
A cheap and effective mild abrasive is plain old baking soda. Put it in a container (so clients won't know what it is) and use it for kitchen cleaning (stovetops and countertops). This is also pet and child safe.
A nice smelling general cleaner is a spray bottle of water and a few drops of essential oil. There are a wide variety of essential oils at your local health food store. They are a tad pricey (8-10 for a small bottle) but 10 drops is all you need for a decent sized spray bottle. This is also pet and child friendly and is a disinfectant (as is vinegar). I have sprayed this on things like couches in place of Febreeze.
Lemon juice and salt cleans copper perfectly. Just be sure to remove all of it when you're done cleaning it or it will eat away at the copper.
For special surfaces (glass, granite, wood) - use specialty cleaners. Check your local Dollar Tree. The majority of your cleaning in bathrooms and kitchens will be good with the other stuff.
Check the Dollar Tree or Walmart for bulk wash cloths to clean with. White is better because you can throw some bleach in the washer with them and get them back to their original color.
