What should I do with a used set of brake pads?
Before the previous owner sold his Acura TL to me, he had the brakes changed. For some reason, he decided to keep the old brake pads and they are now in a small box in the back of the vehicle. I really don't see a reason to keep them.
Are there people out there who would buy these used pads, or is there a possibility of recycling them somewhere?
Any chance of recycling? I'll throw 'em away if that's a last resort.
chuck em, most reputable shops will return used parts as proof they changed em, atleast until(or if there is an issue)you develop a business relationship and trust with them.if a shop tells you they replaced something, ask for your old parts,to verify(when new customer)then just leave em.
