what color should I paint my front door?
I have been struggling with a color for the front door of our house. The house is like a washed out beige, almost grayish with white trimmed bay windows, no shutters. We have large white garage doors. it was dark blue when we first moved in but I hated it so I tried white but it was like an off white and didn't match well. Then I tried grey, like a clay color but that makes it look unfinished or primed. I have a cherry colored arch over the sidewalk that leads to our house and a small garden with red lava rocks. Any ideas?? Oh, and I just installed a gorgeous brushed nickel lever door handle too. I'll see if I can post a pic. Thanks!! 
I think it would look good to either use a white color that matches the trim on the windows or maybe a darker beige color. I think you should probably paint the garage doors to match also. You could get some of those paint swatch things and find the color that match your house and then see which ones look good with it. Here's a website that lets you see colors on houses.
