Multi Use Coated

Is the Valspar Multi-Purpose primer the best out of the three?
At Lowe's, they sell 3 different grades of Valspar primer. The first is designed only for virgin drywall ($54 for 5-gal bucket), and has little hiding power. Second is a maroon-label High-Hiding Primer ($68 for 5-gal bucket), and is for a base coat over dark colors. Third is a blue-label Multi Purpose Primer ($89 for 5-gal bucket), and claims to also be a stain blocker and sticks to glossy surfaces without sanding. However, it doesn't say anything on the label about high-hiding.
My question is, can the Multi-Purpose be used in place of the mid-grade (high-hiding primer)? Does it have as many solids as the mid-grade?
No go with behr or kilz ....trust me ..
