what kind of welding is this?
This welder has a pistol grip with a wire that is .035 Is this MIG TIG or what? where can I learn more about this kind of welding? another question is, how is it supposed to look when finished? for me it seems to keep beeding up into small balls and doesn't smooth out, is that ok?
Sounds like a mig welder to me.
The bead will be small balls until you learn how to do it right. Make a slight left to right motion as you are laying the bead. This will give you that smooth kinda wavy professinal look you see on welded machinery, etc..
