Cats eyes gleamin abound, circle drawn around
treasures kept, spilled to play
knees soiled, tension built on the dry ground
Pulled out my eyeball aggie, polished to shoot
Yikes bet yer gonna win today!

Enough blabber lets get busy and play."

Careful, layin close down a way sharp eye,
I took my first good shot of the day.
Took 3 out snatched em, hearin a sigh.

I had cleared the now scattered ring
wonderin after, reflectin,
I din't really win a thing.
A newbie not used to my big gun
I said "I ain't sorry but
here's yer marbles, the game was fun."
He became a best new bud to me,
smiled as he put his treasure back in his pouch,
"Hey lets you and me go climb a big tree."
Pretty enough to make men melt,
she knew they'd just try to keep her under the belt,
so she learned how to run amok just like a boy;
the other girls thought it was some kind of ploy,
but she was not wily, least not in that way.
She spoke up when she had something to say.
She played games of chance every chance she could get,
gave a run for their money so they wouldn't forget
that she could pay her own way. She'd buy a round for the guys,
and make sure they looked her straight in the eyes
when talking to her, and when behind her back,
she heard disrespect? She'd lay on a smack
that would make the ears ring. Funny thing is,
they liked it. And they made sure to mind their own biz!
