Electric Short 2001 Lincoln Navigator?
I had a short in my starter relay. It melted the solenoid which I replaced. The car turns over but it will not start All of the fuses and relays are good. The battery is good. I hooked up a code reader to the car and it would not connect. I am told the computer will give a code even if it is bad. Is it power to the computer? What would be the best way to test that?
if all the fuses are good and you turn the key ti the on position, the 'check engine' light should come on. if it doesn't, you need a new pcm.
