What is wrong with my welder?
I have a lincoln 100 hd wire feed flux core welder that turns on and the fan runs, but when i depress the trigger, nothing happens and then when i try to strike an arc with it after hand feeding the wire through, i cannot strike an arc. What is wrong with it? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Most likely the trigger switch is bad.
My Miller had a similar problem. Replaced switch, worked fine.
NOTE: If the switch is bad, there is NO POWER to the wire, wire drive, etc.
