I'm looking for a device that will measure the water level residing within a hole that has been cased. Normally 50mm PVC casing (carries sound very well). I understand that there are laser devices that would do the job but some of these holes are 150m deep and don't always provide the 'line of site' needed with light. Sound, I understand is not disturbed by these slight bends as much. Any Ideas? Let me know if you need me to be more specific or need more details?
can i suggest you hire for a day or try to borrow a ultrasonic range finder before you buy one incase it doesnt work
