What is wrong with my buick lesabre 1992?
my car used to start right away after i shut it off but not if i let it set more than a few miinutes. now it will only start after sitting for hours. and the last time i drove it when i parked and popped the hood there was white smoke coming from under the the frint edge of the engine. and it smelled like burning wires, like something electrical fried. And it dies if i do not feed it gas, like if i am coming to a stop light and take my foot off the gas and try to brake. I cleaned the ignition module, the ground for it and the plate it sets on. what would have fried? and what could be the reason it wount start unless cold? could these be the same thing?
The colder it is outside the sooner it will start back up, so the air temperature does not really matter
if it dose it no matter what the air temperture is i try replacing the cumputer
