What can I use to reattach the rubber of my steering wheel to the steel core inside?
I have a '91 Honda Accord with 300k miles. The steering wheel is in good shape externally but I can tell that it has separated inside from the steel core around the top half. I can twist the top half and I don't want it breaking off. My plan is to drill two small (maybe 1/4 to 3/8") holes on the front (windshield side) of the steering wheel at either end of the loose section and inject an adhesive into one hole until it comes out the other. I just don't know adhesives and which one would work the best. What ever it is it can't be too thick to flow into and back out of the holes I'd drill. Any ideas on what I can use?

If all else fails, try a cover that ties tight to wheel. Junk yard?
