lol Andy Pollack's econ 256 class. I'm in it too, struggling with this retarded assignment. What I got for this is:
a) import -16,000 (cash paid for TVs)
capital import +16,000 (gain in equipment)
b) reserves - 2 mio (foreign central bank's claim to domestic assets increases)
exports +2 mio (cash exported to Africa)
c) import +2.5 mio (oil received by Canada)
capital export -2.5 mio (mining equipment sent away)
I have no clue how to do 2 or 3 so if you do let me know. cheers.
