Answer is :
b.2 cores
The core is the hollow/ center of the masonry unit, usually just called a cinder block.
Many bricks have three cores/ about one inch in diameter.

Answer is:
c.receptacle, the place where you plug in your laptop.

On this, I have no idea what a rim board is.
The dimensions given are standard lumber lengths, except for 30 feet.
Most require either a 16" or 24" on center support to fasten it to properly, like a stud in a wall.
