ok.I have a mini roof terrace and then 2mtres down to my garden. my garden is pretty small (8 foot) so wanted to build a staircase fully out of concrete blocks(breeze blocks) butted up against the exterior wall on one side (I will put some sort of handrail on the exposed side). is this viable? currently have a huge wooden staircase which juts out into the garden and takes up all the room. it's mainly the cost issue as this should be v cost effective. just wanted to know pros & cons
Yes it could be done, but you'll need a 3ft foundation I would have thought and a topping for each step as breeze block aren't hardwaring
