I am trying to find information about metal covered drains (10"?) to install in front of my carport in rock be
I have a rock bed drive area in front of my carport. When we have heavy rains the water washes into the carpaort bringing in lots of red sand silt - very hard to remove. I would like to install a trench drain in front of the carport with a metal grid over it to drain the water away from the carport. I have seen this type of drain cover in commercial applications but can not locate a source for do-it- yourselfers. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, Sam
These link are to plumbing manufactures. Look under the floor drain and trench drains. You will probably want a cast iron grate for vehicle traffic. Hope it helps.
