How to fab cj7 roll cage?
Where should I go online to find a step by step or schematic for fabricating a jeep cj7 roll cage? I have access to a metal chop saw, horizontal and vertical bandsaw, grinders, tube bender, mig, tig, stick, plasma cutter, and oxy-acet.
Can't answer your question about a web site, and what I'll offer may sound goofy, but I used a similar solution for working on my 89 Wrangler. Monogram Models make a pretty decent model of the CJ7, with an accurate roll cage. The scale is 1/24, so you take the pieces and size them up to full and you'd have a 3-D schematic of sorts. Franklin Mint also makes a very good CJ7 model. I needed to know about brake lines once, and the model actually did help me.
