Battery Rebuilding Service
I have a 1996 Ram PU that will not start every morning, whats the problem?
The alternator is new/rebuilt and the battery is good according to the service people. It can be jump started and then runs fine. It seems to have a drain on the system, but I can't figure out what. Any ideas?
Start by having the charging system retested with a load tester and
a voltage meter. You battery may be holding a surface charge during
the day but looses it with the cooler temperatures at night.
Next, in the dark and when it's quiet, shut off the truck and look
and listen for any electrical sounds from ie ( fuel pump etc..) noises.
check the glove box light isn't on or the tail lights are not lit or dim.
Make sure the radio is not on ( you can even remove the fuse for it
if that is in question).
That's just a start.... I really think it's your battery...
