Strong water pressure in kitchen but weak in bathroom?
Cold water pressure in kitchen is extremely strong (2-3 bar) hot not as strong but acceptable. In the bathroom a total different story as when I turn on the hot and/or cold water in the bath (bath/shower mixer) it is very weak (approx. 0.5 bar) also takes ages for the hot water to heat up unless I turn on the central heating, yet instant in the kitchen. If both taps are fully turned on the hot seems to take over. Taking a shower is a joke as I have to fully open the cold water tap and fiddle around with the hot water until I get a decent temperature which means having to almost completely close off the the hot water tap resulting in weak shower. I live in a block of flats with the main water tank on the roof above my flat and I have a combi boiler. Anyone got any idea why this is happening and maybe have a solution to my problem.
All comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I live in the United Kingdom, London.
Even though you live in a block of flats, the water in your kitchen tap should be mains water, not from the tank on the roof. If you have a combi boiler, then the hot water pressure should be a little below your cold mains pressure (you lose a bit of pressure going through the boiler). From your description, I'm guessing your boiler is in the kitchen, and the hot water pipework from the boiler to the bathroom is quite a long run or very badly fitted, perhaps with a couple of flow restricting isolator valves on the way. This would explain the discrepancy between the hot in the kitchen and bathroom. It also sounds like your bathroom cold comes from the cold water storage cistern on the top of the flats...
So you have so many variables here, trying to pinpoint the main problem(s) will be very difficult. And then, once you have found the problem, you may not like the disruption or cost of rectifying it... it is likely you may need quite a lot new pipework put in.
If all you really want is a decent shower, you may find it a simpler solution to fit an electric shower fed from your adequate cold mains supply. May I suggest a 10.8kW Mira Sport as the best one I've ever fitted. At £200, it's the most expensive one on the market but is works great and lasts forever... ideal for hard London water!
Finding a decent plumber is hard in London. May I suggest you ask around first, for personal recommendation and if nothing comes from that then look for someone who is a member of the IPHE - a Registered Plumber. Or find a local plumbing merchants and ask for recommendation there.
