What's the best vacuum cleaner for getting dust off the top of your books?
. . . And out of the little teensy crevasses of the knickknack shelf?
. . . And off nests of stereo wiring?
. . . And those rarely used keys on the laptop?
I don't want to use an air gun because I'm allergic to dust. I need something that will slurp up and hold onto the house dust that accumulates on finely textured surfaces like the brickwork around my fireplace.
Thanks, guys, guess I need to be clearer. I have a lot of constrained places the brush attachment won't reach. I need something small.
For example, the books can be as tight as 1/4 inch (10 mm) below the bookshelf above them and I have a lot of books. It is too much to pull them all off the shelves every week.
I suppose I could make a suitable attachment myself, but I'd rather buy something if there is anything out there.

You can get this micro vacuum attachment kit at your local Oreck vacuum store. Works like a charm on all those tuff to reach places and fits ALL vacuum hoses. Oreck also has an "Extend-able crevice tool" set that is designed for book shelves, under refrigerators, and other flat hard to reach places. They retail $19.95 each.
